DISTRIBUTED INTERACTIVE COMPUTING AND DISTRIBUTED INTERACTIVE SIMULATION

Distributed interactive computing and distributed interactive simulation（DIC ＆ DIS） are today’s main trend of networking computing and object\|oriented technology. The effect and the benefit of DIC ＆ DIS are discussed in the paper. The methodology of object\|oriented technology and the role of unified open architecture framework in DIC ＆ DIS are analyzed. A typical DIS Environment being developed is introduced and the current issues and the future trends of DIC ＆ DIS are also discussed.
