RESEARCH ON A CYCLIC QUERY PROCESSING TECHNIQUE IN OBJECT ORIENTED DATABASE SYSTEMS

Cyclic query is a kind of special query.According to the features of object oriented database and cyclic query,and based on the ODMG 93 standard,a practical efficient cyclic query processing strategy is proposed in the paper.The cyclic component distinguishing algorithm and the cyclic component processing algorithm are analysed.The application shows that the strategy can process the cyclic query in OODB efficiently.
