A DIRECT MANIPULATION USER INTERFACE MODEL FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPLICATED SEMANTICS

A software system that has a user interface with sense of reality and humanity is easy to learn and operate, and direct manipulation technique has already taken a step forward in that field. However, pure direct manipulation technique can not be effective enough because of the difficulty in implementing complicated expression and manipulation semantics. The csDMUI model is presented in this paper to overcome shortcomings of the old one.
