Analysis of a Carry Save Array Multiplier

Abstract:Regularly-structured circuits are well suited for VLSI implementation.This paper applies the structural analysis method given in 2 to one of the ISCAS 10 benchmark circuits,C6288,and shows that C6288 is actually a carry save array multiplier.Its regularity in structure benifits design verification and test,and our understanding of the complicated gate level circuit as well.
