Principles and Implementation of Microcomputer-based On-line Handwritten Chinese Character Recognition System

A microcomputer-based on-line handwritten Chinese character recognition system is proposed in this paper.It is built on the basis of a China-made 8-bit microcomputer.This system is nearly to be put into practical use.The proposed algorithms for preprocessing of stroke coordinates,extraction of Stroke features,and matching of stroke code sequences have been proved to be effective for designing and programming an on-line handwritten Chinese character recognition system with various practical functions.
