    Design and Realization of Dynamic Load Balancing Based on Linux Virtual Server System

    • In a load balancing system based on Linux virtual server, weight is static in the weighted scheduling algorithm In the LVS kernel the IPVS model, there isn’t mechanisms to adjust weight automatically So task assignments often deviate from servers’ capability In this paper a convergent method is introduced to adjust weight of servers dynamically Weight of servers is changed according to the real time feedback information from the real server and the IPVS model The method realizes dynamic load balancing mechanism and improves servers’ efficiency and cluster’s I/O rate And the method can be applied to cluster systems based on Linux virtual server
