A Management Information System Based on Distributed Database

In this paper,we discuss som-e problems about the database design and implementationof the CUNMIS (Chongqing University Network Management Information System),which is based onthe CUNET (Chongqing University NE Twork) and ORACLE 5.1,a distributed database managementsystem.Specially,we discuss problems about the distributed database environment,interconnection man-ner,DDB architecture,data distribution strategies and how to use a DDB to a MIS.
