Abstract

In this report, the source code of UNIX Operating System (kernel)(level 6) is analysed and its data structure described. And almost all its subroutines(functions) are floweharted. The purpose of the report is to explain elearly the functi-ons, architeeture and design ideas of UNIX Operating System, so that it can be used as a reference book for studying UNIX System and teaching Operating Systems. The report has been taught in some institutes and universities of our country.
