THE STUDY OF CONCURRENT OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES

With the widespread acceptance of object oriented programming and the increasing requirements of concurrent applications, considerable research activity in the past few years has concentrated on the design of concurrent object oriented programming languages. By studying and analyzing some representative languages, and forcusing on the combination of concurrent programming and object oriented programming, the motivation, design principles, main problems, and various approaches about the design of concurrent object oriented programming languages are summarized and discussed. Finally, some ideas about the future work are given.
