A FAULT-TOLERANT OBJECT REPLICATION ALGORITHM FOR CORBA

Described in this paper is a fault tolerant object replication algorithm based on CORBA. The algorithm uses primary backup replication, which enables clients re invoke requests and ensure its at most once semantics, and separates replication protocol and reliable communication protocol. Fault tolerance provided by the algorithm is fully user transparent. Finally the demonstration is given for this algorithm based on StarBus platform.
