HIT-IIS:AN OPEN CIM INTEGRATING INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM

As an enterprise-wide application platform, the infrastructure of a computer integrated manufacturing system provides a set of basic processing and communication services required for the information integration and the function integration of CIM enterprises. It is the fundamental supporting environment for CIM. This paper proposes a plan of an open CIM integrating infrastructure prototype, called HIT--ifS, and presents an approach to implementing this system.
