TEAM-AND-ROLE-ENABLED TASK DISTRIBUTION UNDER POLICY CONSTRAINTS IN ADAPTIVE WFMS

Flexible work distribution is one of the critical factors for dynamic and adaptive adjustment in workflow management system （WFMS）. Most of workflow products including WfMC meta model only support role based task distribution, and neglect typical work style-teamwork. In this paper, a team and role enabled distribution model is defined, which integrates layered policies to deal with the exceptional situations. From this model, a one list and multi view mechanism to manage task distribution is provided. This mechanism makes the workflow engine more complex, but it simplifies the modeling and implementation of business processes.
