Analysis,Evaluation and Optimization to DECnet Software, and the Software Analysis Method

Firstly, this paper analyses the total structure, kernel parts(CEX and AUX), communication device driver, data communication program(DCP), network generation and management parts of RSX/IAS DECnet source programs(V2.0) in detail,and expounds the relations between DECnet software and operating system, realization techniques of DECnet, dispatch algorithms, data structures and realization algorithms of every module. Secondly, the paper gives the evaluation and optimization to DECnet software, and puts forwards a software analysis method by means of unitying the analysis, evaluation and optimization of the software.
