The Mechanical Structure for the 200 MB Magnetic Disk Servo Track Writer
A servo track writer is necessary to improve magnetic disk device.This paper describes its mechanical structure including a high precision spindle,a high precision positioning system,an air-mounting deck,etc..With this writer,a satisfactory servo surface in a removable disk pack,whose capacity is 100MB,200MB or 300MB,can be obtained.
