Implementation Issues of the GSML Grid Programming Language

With the advent of grid technology, more and more grid applications are being developed and deployed. However, the programming languages of grid applications are still dominated by traditional languages such as C and Java. In Vega grid project, GSML, a programming language and user-oriented language for grid applications, is developed. GSML uses a markup language to realize grid programming in order to make coding, development, and deployment of grid applications more efficient. Introduced in this paper are an implementation of GSML and other related work such as grid community that is used to support the run-time environment of GSML.
