The Design and Implementation of a Local Microcomputer Network Operating System

This paper presents the results of the research and implementation of a local area network operating system. The main points of design are proposed. The open file system and the real-time point-to-point communications on the present single-user and single-task operating system have been implemented. Some utility programs have been written based on the file system and communication system. Cosiderations are given to the transplantation and compatibility of the software.
