The Design and Application of Protocols for LAN Session Layer

At present, the focal point in LAN research is gradually put to develophigh-level layer protocols. The session layer is the basis of LAN's applications. There-fore, depending on the features of LAN, this paper presents session layer service modelin reference to ISO OSI Model and IEEE Project 802 Standard, and its implementationand use in a LAN.
