Remarks on“An Improved QSQI Query Algorithm”

In this paper, an example is given to show that the improved QSQI algorithm presented by 1 is not correct, although ts application range is restricted to linear rules and acyclic EDB relations. Then, a different opinion about whether top-down is naturally better than bottom-up and whether EDB relations in a logic database should be acyclic is put forward to discuss with the authors of 1.
