THE PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF CENTRALIZED DISK ARRAYS

The basic queuing model is built for centralized disk arrays and the performance of thearrays is investigated by means of simulation and analysis based on this model.The curves simulated and approximately analysed for disk utilization and the average response time are given. Finally, the disadvantages that the utilization is not high,and the reasons why it is so are pointedout.
