DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ANOBJECT ORIENTED INFERENCE ENGINE

This paper presents an idea of object oriented inference engine（OOIE）. It is implemented with Borland C++ 4.0 under windows environment. OOIE provides multiple inference methods and multiple inexact inference strategies, and can combine both qualitative and quantitative computations effectively. Its design and implementation are described with emphasis on object oriented inference engine, inexact inference strategies, fuzzy matrix handling and implementation technology with object windows library.
