The Research on a Fuzzy Intelligent Information System

    • A fuzzy intelligent information system model is posed with the goal to simulate human information processing. The main issues addressed are uncertain knowledge representation and approximate reasoning based on fuzzy set theory. Concepts that can be learned by the system can be imprecise, or the knowledge can be incomplete. In the latter case, the system uses the concept of similarity to extrapolate new knowledge. Concepts are stored in the fuzzy knowledge base and employed in intelligent query processing, based on flexible inference that supports approximate matches between the data in the database and the querv.
