Performance Analysis of Rolling Read Approaches for Speeding up Disk Reading

The rolling read approach is an effective method to optimize the disk reading. In this paper, a simple rolling read （SRR） and optimized rolling read （ORR） approaches are presented and quantitatively analyzed. The analysis conclusions show that ORR is best, and it not only has the highest speed of disk reading. but also puts the good performance disk into full play.
