A Communication System with Mobility for Agent-Based Distributed Simulation

Distributed simulation of agent based systems is an important research and applied field And the communication system for distributed simulation is the basic part In this paper, a communication system that supports distributed simulation of agent based systems is proposed and realized The communication system has the advantages such as transparency to application system, high efficiency, and supporting agent mobile In this paper, the architecture and idea of the communication system is proposed The local service agent and the communication process are described in detail Then the structured communication protocol at application level and distributed simulation level is presented The protocol can encapsulate all kinds of agent communication languages On the basis of the communication architecture and the protocol, the whole structure for agent mobile is given, including the agent mobile process, the message processing, and the communication after mobile Finally, the performance of the communication system is tested
