The GPIB Interface Adopted in the Glass Meridian Circle

According to the Glass Meridian Circle, a selestial measuring instrument with high accuracy and fully auto-control, being developed by China in collaboration with Denmark, this paper focuses on the hardware design and software developing steps for the General Communication Board for the GPIB interface. The board designed and built by the author is the key part employed in the control system for the instrument.
