ITE:AN ENVIRONMENT FOR TESTING IP PHONES

In developing an IP phone, the testing of its functions, performance, and interoperability is essential. Speech quality, number of users supported and interoperability of various IP phone systems operated in the same environment may be different. Unfortunately, there isn’t a standard method to evaluate different IP phone systems yet. The details of an environment for testing IP phones （ITE） developed and its applications are described in this paper.
