The Design of a Nonnumeric Sorter Based on Non-Comparator

The design method and characteristic of a nonnumeric sorter based on non-comparator are presented in this paper. A parallel sorting method which could speed up the sorting is proposed also. The sorter could actas the functional unit of the functional disk system or other uses.
