DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS BASED ON REPRESENTATION ONTOLOGIES

Knowledge modeling, knowledge sharing, and integration are new techniques which are studied for developing intelligent systems. However, each of them is only a level of techniques, and hence can’ t become a powerful technology alone. This paper proposes a method, called OMSI, for developing intelligent systems, which uses representation ontologies as a common basis to closely combine these levels of techniques to gether,thus facilitating intelligent systems to evolve towards open and huge complicated systems.
