Strategies for the Implementation of Some Principal Points of Technique in Distributed Information System HBU-EMIS

HBU-EMIS is a distributed information system based on heterogeneous database systems, which is supported by ORACLE, dBASE Ⅲ database system, and DECnet network, This paper mainly explores the strategies for the implementation of some principal points of technique in HBU-EMIS, such as structure of network, data distribution, function partition, shared data management, conversion of data models, and data dictionary management.
