Software Fault-Tolerance Method,Model and Implementation

This paper analyzes the fault sources inside a computer,studies the fault nature in software programming and points out that the design diversity is the basis of software fault-tolerance.Then,the fundamental methods in software fault-tolerating are studied,and a general model of fault-tolerant software is constructed.The popular software fault-tolerant techniques are surveyed and the implementation problem of the software fault-tolerant techniques based on backward recovery in distributed systems is solved.
