DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN EDUCA TIONAL AND LEARNING COMPUTER SYSTEM

A fully new computer system has been specially designed for a lot of computer hardware lessons and experiments. Hardware subsystem specifications are:Machine word length being 16 bits, 64 instructions, arithmetic unit consisting of bit slice IC chips,and control unit using microprogramming scheme and supporting dynamic microprogramming. There are some potentialities of input/output operations. The software subsystem includes a monitor, a cross assembler, a simulation terminal program for connecting to PC. The configuration of the computer system is very reasonable. The system provides high performances of experiments, and satisfies almost any educational and learning usage.
