Control Structure of a Novel SIMD Computer ABC-90jr

ABC-90jr is a prototype SIMD computer under development in our laboratory, which is aimed at efficient processing of image and signal information. In this paper, a pipeline control structure is introduced. In particular, the control dependence, resource dependence, and others such as write-read dependence are analyzed, andthe benefit obtained by the hardware dependence resolution mechanism is pointed out.
