The Deadlock Detection Algorithm for Distributed Database Concurrency Control

A distributed database concurrency control algorithm based on the deadlock detection method is proposed in this paper A performance comparison between the deadlock detection method vs two typical deadlock avoiding methods is made by simulation The conclusion shows that the deadlock detection method is better than the deadlock avoi ding methods in both communication cost and response time.
