The Bandwidth and Balance of Computer Systems

The bandwidth of computer system, CPU, main memory and I/O subsystem is discussed. The relationship or the bandwidth balance among CPU, memory and I/O subsystem is proved and represented by formulas. With the aid of the formulas, the rationality of computer system design can be easily evaluated, and the design principles may be adopted.
