DPSP: A CLIENT REQUEST SCHEDULING POLICY BASED ON WEB CONTENT

Improvement of the performance of server is observed to have a significant impact on web server QoS. Based on the analysis of the relationship among response time, client request arrival rate, thread number, and scheduling policy, dynamic priority scheduling policy （DPSP） is proposed to change the order of server process request. Compared with the first come first service （FCFS）, short request first （SRF）, and dynamic earliest deadline first （DEDF）, the simulation results of the DPSP show that it can enhance the WWW QoS by increasing only little response time.
