APPLICATION OF SEMANTIC NETWORK IN DEVELOPING THE ENGINEERING DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CIMS/EDBMS

Commercial database management systems cannot afford the advanced applications such as CAD and so on. According to the engineering database management system CIMS/EDBMS developed by the authors, this paper discusses the principle and implementation of developing engineering database management systems based on ORACLE,by using semantic network model to introduce the object oriented notion and method.
