A COHERENT APPROACH FOR IRREGULAR DATA FIELD VOLUME RENDERING
An approach for volume rendering of irregular data field by exploiting pixel coherence is given. In this approach, the image space is partitioned, and intersection is accomplished by using a scan conversion method in each subspace. The correct composition order of intersection point pairs is obtained by regulating them on the basic visible order.
