AN EXTENSIBLE VIEW METHOD FOR MULTIDATABASE INTEGRATION AND INTEROPERATION

An extensible view method for multidatabase integration and interoperation is presented, which supports multi level encapsulation and abstraction of underlying data resource and meets the multi level integration requirements of applications. The extensible object model as the theoretical basis of extensible view method and the integration mechanism based on the extensible view method are discussed, and the formal description of EOM is given.
