STUDY OF AUDIO CODING ALGORITHMS IN A VIDEOCONFERENCING SYSTEM

This paper introduces a videoconferencing system and its audio coding international recommendations. According to the development of the videoconferencing system, three recommendations: G.711, G.722 and G.728 that are widely used in practice are described in detail. With the implements of the improved algorithms and the evaluation system of audio coding systems,the evaluation and comparison of these three algorithms are given. The implementation results are also presented.
